Is Prism the right place for intercommunication between UserControls

I have a requirement where dynamically WPF user controls are loaded into the container & they need to interchange message between each other like when you select a particular row in a usercontrol1 there is another user control which shows additional details for that selected row. Same way when user click on a button in a user control which in turn open a popup & user adds some record in that window. When user closes that window the new record should be reflected in the launching window.

I am looking for a loosly coupled communication. I am not sure whether Prism is the right framework, could you please point me to some sample which has same requirement as mine. In-case Prism is not the right framework, can anyone suggest me which is right pattern for this.

Thanks in advance.

As loosely coupled communication is one of the challenges addressed by Prism, you might find it is right for your needs. You can find an example of this kind of communication in the Reference Implementation and in this application.

I hope you find this useful.
