how to reclaim memory

Hi, after removing views doesn't reclaim memory. Can someone guide me how to do it in Prism 2.2. as memory only shoots up. need it badly. thanks in advance.

This is an existing issue on Prism v2, you could take a look at the Damian Schenkelman’s Blog post, which describes a memory leak:

It did add onto memory release by 5mb... still got a long way to go... is there anything else that I should do?
you see the link you mentioned deals with child regions mainly. Whereas I'm having memory issues while removing the views from the parent region of my Shell.


Any help plz...

You might find the following Work Item in the Issue Tracker useful to find a possible cause for the leak you're experiencing:

RegionManagerRegistrationBehavior never stop monitoring the RegionManager

Also, you should check whether you're not holding references to your views in (for example) the Dependency Injection container (for example, using a ContainerControlledLifetimeManager in Unity), in event handlers, or in Event Aggregator strong subscriptions.
