I'm quite new to prism, building a structure for a series of my works.

There is a ComboBox in the Ribbon located in MainWindow inside the Shell Assembly.

I want to bind it to a collectionviewsource in the  ViewModel located in the Domain.

Here is the Outline :

Assemblies : Shell, Domain

Shell > Ribbon

Domain > Model

Any Sample related to binding My Shell's ComboBox into the ViewModel of the Domain is appreciated.

As far as I know, so far Prism does not contain an specific sample with this scenario. On the other hand, based on my understanding you should be able to bind your ComboBox to a view model that represents a collection or to a property that returns a collection via the ItemSource property, similarly when working with Itemscontrols or ListBox controls.

For more information on how to achieve data binding in your controls and the different approaches on how to wire your View Model to your views I recommend you to check the following chapters of the Prism documentation:

I hope you find this helpful,

I'm working on it, may be the question changed or reformed,

I'm reading the book from a month ago but these chapters aren't comprehensive enough and

in case of examples it doesn't have enough examples. thanks
