Is there any chance that the Platform restriction in the license will be removed in version 5? I would like to use Prism on Adroid, MACOS and IOS, but can not with that restriction.

Interesting question, same with Prism for Windows Runtime.
Isn't it allowed to migrate Prism to PCLs to use it with Xamarin?

Now that we released Prism for WPF, we will look into what it takes to remove the platform limitation. I'll let you know more as we find out more.

With the recent release of xamarin forms 3.0 most of my apps are moving towards using XAML forms in Portable class libraries with Unity as my IOC.

A big gap for me now is the Pub/Sub library. Any chance of just getting that released with out the Platform License?

Prism.Composition, Prism.Mvvm, Prism.PubSubEvents, Prism.Interactivity, Prism.UnityExtensions, and Prism.MefExtensions now use the Apache 2.0 license. For more details see my blog post.

Or check out our Xamarin support (in work) in the main Prism project (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dotnet/archive/2015/03/19/prism-grows-up.aspx) at http://github.com/prismlibrary.

I have been following this with Brian Lagunas. Very cool work. I am unsure what the new team is thinking in terms of future directions. I need to ping them for a roadmap and a features list.
