I have an existing SL2 app. Does anyone have any guidance on what is the minimum I would need to do to integrate EventAggregation from Prism v2?

You would need to refer to the Prism dlls (particularly the namespace Microsoft.Practises.Composite.Events). You would need to build a mechanism for publish suscribe as shown in samples on the Prism quick start website.

However, I'm not quite sure on the benefits you would get by just implementing EventAggegation in an existing SL2 application.

Hi David,

The following blog post provides an assembly that only contains the required things to implement Silverlight EventAggregation from Prism-v2. This could be useful if you want to reduce download size:

·         Putting Prism-v2 extensibility to test. The standalone Silverlight Event Aggregator

For information on how Publication and Subscription is done with the Event Aggregator you can check:

·         How to: Create and Publish Events

·         How to: Subscribe and Unsubscribe to Events

Please let me know if this helps.
