This release contains the Composite Application Guidance documentation in Help 1.0 (CHM) format and PDF format. The documentation included with the full download of the guidance is the same as in the CHM file provided here.

Note: If you are running the Microsoft Vista or Windows XP operating system, you may not be able to see the content of the CHM. If you cannot see the content, you will need to select the properties for the file and then select the Unblock button on the General tab.

Note: The PDF version is provided for printing purposes. Most links do not work in this format. Working links can be found in the CHM document or in the online documentation on MSDN here.

Just noticed the Oct 2009 drop. I don't know if any of the printed guidance has changed in a significant way, but if it has; I'd like to request a PDF version be posted as you did in the past.

So far I really like what I see! I'm just starting to play with it now. Could you please provide a PDF version of the doc (like you did for the 2008 release)? It makes it easier to read straight thru... thanks! [revised 2/26/09] Thanks for posting the PDF!!!

MICROSOFT PATTERNS & PRACTICES LICENSE
