Prism 2.2 (for Silverlight 4) - May 2010 Release
(previously known as the Composite Application Guidance for WPF and Silverlight)
Prism is designed to help you more easily build enterprise-level Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Silverlight client applications, including applications that may target both WPF and Silverlight simultaneously. This guidance will help you design and build flexible composite client applications – applications that use loosely coupled, independently evolvable pieces that work together within the overall application.
Based on your feedback, this guidance will evolve in future releases.
Note: This is a minor update to the October 2009 release. This release includes:
- All projects refreshed to work with Visual Studio 2010.
- Desktop version still targets .NET Framework 3.5.
- Silverlight projects refreshed to target Silverlight 4.
- Silverlight RI updated to use the latest Silverlight Toolkit.
