Hello Everyone,

I took a Silverlight 4 template and converted it to a WPF template.

The Silverlight template can be found here. http://www.dotnetpatterns.net/content/185-Silverlight-4.0-Prism-4.0-Telerik-Ribbon-Application-Template

Presently it uses a Telerik Ribbonbar to build an Office like application.

The WPF solution can be downloaded here.

This was designed to be a base to build a commercial LOB application off of.  It's not some solution thrown together for a presentation.

I've just spent quite a bit of time learning about MVVM working towards coming up with a base to build modular applications.  I'm sharing because I like what the MVVM patterns are to WPF/Silverlight and hopefully this template can help others new to the concepts get started.

Feel free to use and alter it as you see fit.

Hi Kris,

Thank you for your contribution, this might be helpful for other users interested in getting familiar with the concepts you are including in the sample.

We've added this thread to the Prism Knowledge Base.

Thanks,

Thank you Guido.

For anybody giving taking a look at it.  The goal with the templates are help anybody new to MVVM, Prism etc to get started with a "commercial ready" template.

Also, I'm hoping the templates will spark discussions about other things that can be added or improved with the Template going forward which will help us all.

Thanks again!
