MVVM Quick Start: Prism4.chm is out of sync with the code

Hi everyone,

I was going through the MVVM Quick Start, and found that the code is quite different from the explanations in the Prism4.chm.

E.g. the Prism4.chm says that there's a DataTemplateSelector.cs under \MVVM\MVVM\Infrastructure\ as the data template selector for the viewModels,

while in the current version of the Quick Start, the selector is declared in the QuestionareView.xaml using  <prism:DataTemplateSelector />

By the way, is there a quick start for using error validation in WPF instead of Silverlight ?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this difference between the code and the chm files provided with Prism. We have created a work item in the issue tracker, so that the team is aware of it and might solve it on a future release.

As for your second concern, there isn’t a QuickStart that demonstrates error validation in WPF, although the concepts explained in the Silverlight version might be helpful to fulfill a similar scenario in WPF.

Thanks,
